Webmistress Design Service

So today my friends, I have been shopping online, not too much,...and finally committed to the writing down my ideas for my new website. Social networking seems to be the thing, so I want to give it a whirl. I happen to know some very intelligent people who cannot get their pictures out of their cameras into their computers, so it is for them that I created "Your Cyberspace Interface Solution". Happy New Year Everyone, May The Muses Be With You Always!

New Year's Periodical Reading

I was visiting the local bookstore and found two magazines that struck my interest. I have just completed a course in "Anatomy & Drawing" which led my eye to DIRECT ART VOLUME 16.
This month's featured artist is Ben Tolman with his piece "Matters of Life and Death". With clear spiritual leanings, these skeletal figures blend into spiritual bodies, a unique and adventurous approach. Then I also checked out SELF PROMOTION DESIGN ANNUAL. In particular is the article "8 Tips to make most of social networks"...being late to social networking, I wanted to read as much as I can find to get updated.

Barbie and Bang Bang

Thanks to modern technology, those of us who have a musical creative bent can exercise it.
There is a new way to create, store & sell your own music. Try eSession.com.
In addition I have been urging my Barbie doll friends to blog on here. In addition, I have written several articles that are published on Helium.com on Barbie, but also fine Barbie jewelry for big girls. I have been home sick with the flu. I have had every symptom in concert, which has been sorrowful and explosive. The good news is I have had time to catch up with my latest growth spurt and can take time to write to you all.

Clover and MeeMee in "Miss-Placed" poster art

New Digital Artwork Adobe Photoshop

I am working on a poster that I put together with a picture of Clover Mathis, Alvin Ailey Dance Company and personal friend, with a cartoon of myself, and a stage with music stands. I did this because in my mind I have a "chorus" in the classical sense of narrators and voices throughout the show. The title of my show is "Miss-Placed: The New York Years" and consists of a medley of movement, poetry, pre-recorded dialogues, and personal comment. It takes place in a radio station in the foggy Northern California Redwoods. I am going to seek help from a new entity that I learned of from my ASCAP (American Society of Composers and Producers) magazine of which I am a member. "eSession.com" is the name and it looks promising for someone such as myself who cannot imaging anyone producing my show except me. I have written over 330 articles for a writers website called Helium.com, and get paid slightly from doing so. It is a good exercise for me anyway. My real job is being the Project Manager for a physician who has more projects than I do! For better or worse, I understand and I am compassionate about the creative spirits which are riddled with connondrums, (spell check thought my spelling was OK)...and he has written a book about Fibromyalgia. This is very exciting because to have found a cure for Fibromyalgia would help so many people, primarily women, all over the world. We are translating his articles in Japanese and Spanish, and expect to expand.

Layers create MeeMee herself

As I mentioned before, I am taking courses in Media & Animation Arts with The Art Institute of Pittsburgh which I am enjoying very much. I have been working on our narrator whose name is MeeMee. She has her own email account but as her parent I am not quite ready to post it.
She is highly articulate, has taken the idea of believing in herself just a bit too far, and is secular in her world model. I dearly love MeeMee but I also feel compelled to argue with her.
Here is her latest image atop a color study of a play written by yours truly, and then she always has dancing on her mind as is illustrated in this piece. Her ability to criticize is key to all that is good and bad about her.

I want to add that I have a new knitting project that is a Prayer Shawl.

I am selling them on my website: http://www.pegalomania.biz/.

I also found an old picture of myself from the 70's when I was dancing. I am wearing a handknit leotard.
