Excellent customer service from COACH

My daughter purchased a pair of sneakers that are the pinnacle of fashion, but the size was wrong. She lives in the Portland, Oregon area and I live in the woods in Nothern California. I thought it would be hopeless to get COACH to take a return, but my daughter said she would try and asked me what I would like if I could get it. I said a nice scarf, nothing fussy, or an umbrella, nothing dinky. The heavens opened, she went to the outlet store, and lo, and behold, she got the return/exchange, and I amnot the proud owner of a black & grey scarf and black & grey good-sized umbrella. Who knew!

Bead Stringing & Visual Merchandising

My days have been spent primarily working at Ten Window Williams Fine Jewelers in Eureka. I have been using my talents to create a strung and knotted turquoise & lapis bead necklace, plus adding new inventory throughout the Estate Room with an educated eye towards placement. We have the costume jewelry group, the sterling silver & turquoise group, the vintage group which includes our woven hair and mourning jewelry, and metal antique purses. I have taken out an as with THE TRADER for my enterprise called "Your Electric Secretary", which offers a wide variety of services revolving around correspondence, virtual assistance work, except no-one seems to know what that is...and ghost-writing. Boo!

online banking is for me

I have always looked at the granite real estate owned by banks for the sole purpose of maintaining my money. Apparently they rid themselves of my little dollars just as soon as I put them in the forms of loans to others. Often times they overbook whatever funds that handle to give themselves
HaHa! If a person overdrafts, then cannot catch up with the daily punitive fees added on, then that is pure profit for the bank. How convenient the same people who are in charge of millions of the public losing their homes, has no problem charging a ninny like me to keep up their own real estate!
I do not have any solutions for our current economy except to keep working, love modestly, and wish to high heaven that our government would play by the same rules. Fragmented personalities do require one set of persons to live one way, while the privileged ones, live another.
I am a Dave Ramsey fan, I love listening to his common sense advice on the radio about debt, money, collection agencies, big money, and eternal optimism. He suggested his audience try out an online bank and I was more than ready.
This bank has intelligent and attentive telephone help, and so far, so good.
It is called Perk Steet Bank, and a client gets perks (cash back) with use of the debit card.

Exciting opportunity for playwrights

I am just now going to join a group of worldwide playwrights, "all the world is a stage..." is their motto, and there is a method of publishing your own play. In my instance the title is: "Miss-Placed: The New York Years" copyrighted in 2004.
It costs $35.00.

OK, I finished the first verse of my new poem.

I am putting out my tentacles
To seek a King of Pentacles
I search to find Identicals (yes, I made that word up)
In my heart, my soul, my mind.

Moving right along....I did the above study in colors for a class with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. There are five color studies in a group that I am considering reproducing and selling.

LinkedIn seems pretty good
I am not a social networking junkie. I amuse myself with it from time to time. Unfortunately I don't always want to share with the many people I discover who may want to share with me. Therefore, Facebook is not my number one choice to see who is doing what. I much prefer "Linked In", perhaps because I am older or pickier or both.

I have signed up with ADsense from Google and my first client is AmericanMusician.Com.
In addition I am expecting to have some games for children to go with my inventory of paper-dolls and knitting projects for dancing moms and their children, or grandchildren. Aptly titled: Peg's Legs Handknit Dancewear, the original book being written in the early 70's. In addition, I have been using Airplay.Jango.Com for some of my own compositions, and really love it. Please check out my website: Thanks!

Rhyming Dictionary

I have been working on a poem that goes like this:

I am putting out my tentacles

For a King of Pentacles...

then what? My mother always told me to go to the dictionary.
I googled "Rhyming Dictionary" and found a fabulous resource for rhymes.

Now I am trying to work in the word "denticles: a conical pointed projection (as a small tooth).

I contacted Super8 because I had left some jewelry in Helena, Montana

One thing led to another, I got my jewelry back but since it had reigious significance it seemed more important. It was a crystal rosary I had been given when I converted to Catholicism, and a Jesus bracelet that was pasted and shellaced and strung onto elastic. I guess the Virgin Mary didn't want me to get away.
